Selamat berpuasa

hampir sebulan saya x update blog ni... buzy skit la lately ni... rase nye hr ni dah hr ke 13 umat islam berpuasa...cepat betul rase nyer.. rasanyer tak terlambt lagi sy nak ucapkan selamat berpuasa buat kwn2 dan seluruh ahli keluarga ku..

Puasa kali x banyak yang beza berbanding puasa2 yang lepas, cuma kali lebih meriah dgn si kecik Hafiz imran tu. time berpuasa la dia sibuk nak mkn sekali, tapi time bersahur mmg dia x bgn... hihi..

selamat berpuasa....semoga ramadhan kali ini lebih baik dr sebelumnya..

How to install liferay 5.2.3, jdk6, tomcat6, mysql 5 on linux

1) Download and install jdk 6.
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

2) Set an environment variable called $JAVA_HOME to point to your JDK directory.

3) Download and install mysql 5
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html

4) create database for liferay
create database lportal character set utf8;


5) Download and install the liferay/tomcat6 quickstart bundle.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/lportal/files/Liferay%20Portal/liferay-portal-tomcat-6.0-5.2.3.zip
(put it someplace like /usr/local/liferay - this will be now known as %TOMCAT_HOME)

6) Download the Portal 5.2.3 dependencies
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/lportal/Liferay%20Portal/5.2.3/liferay-portal-dependencies-5.2.3.zip?use_mirror=biznetnetworks

7) Create a new folder %TOMCAT_HOME/common/lib/ext
Extract the dependencies in there.

8) Download the mysql connector
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/5.0.html
Extract the files to #6) and %TOMCAT_HOME/lib/ext

9) Edit $TOMCAT_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost/ROOT.xml.
Comment out the default databases. Uncomment the mysql database. Add in your database username and password.

10) Edit $TOMCAT_HOME/conf/catalina.properties.
Add the following to the line common.loader=
,${catalina.home}/common/classes,${catalina.home}/common/lib/ext/*.jar


11) Create file $TOMCAT_HOME/conf/jaas.config
PortalRealm {
com.liferay.portal.kernel.security.jaas.PortalLoginModule required;
};


12) Edit $TOMCAT_HOME/bin/catalina.bat
scroll down to the line
rem ----- Execute the requested command ---------------

go down another 10 lines to the spot right above set _EXECJAVA=%_RUNJAVA% and insert
set JAVA_OPTS=-Xms128m -Xmx512m -Dfile.encoding=UTF8 -Duser.timezone=GMT -Djava.security.auth.login.config=%CATALINA_HOME%/conf/jaas.config


13) Make sure your environment variables are set correct and working
go to %TOMCAT_HOME/bin
type in
./catalina.sh version


14) Start up tomcat. Same directory as above type in
./startup.sh; tail -f ../logs/catalina.out


15) Wait a little while for liferay to start up and go to your web browser and type in
http://localhost:8080
Sign in as test@liferay.com and password test.

the guide is great except for small problem of: the guide instructions don't work.

Last Thursday, sy,suami and Hafiz kuar jln2 kat the curve..saje bosan2X.kami nak jumpe baby syaz n family sape lagi kalu bukan sheila kwn ku yg br hbs pantang... jam 5 ptg kami sudah disana.. time tu hujan..so sheila n rahim stuck dlm hujan jd kami ronda2 duulula...

Kami singgah satu kedai untuk mkn...see.. ape yg kami order...



kami order Gaint Platter for two ...tapi x abis pon..huhu siap takke away lagi.. mmg best n puas hati.. next time boleh mkn lg...

health screening @ UNIKL

Hari ni our office adakan health screening by National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia. So saya n rakan2 opis join la... dah lama sgt tak buat health test ni. cam biasala amik berat ,tinggi, check darah n air kencing.. after 20 minits semua dah settle dan resultnyer..jeng jeng jeng... hehhehe ...
